Section titled “How many doors does Avenger support?”The controller hardware itself supports 2 doors of access control and supports up to 8 doors when using PEX-2D expansion boards.
Can I manage users remotely?
Section titled “Can I manage users remotely?”Yes, your Presco Avenger will connect to our Gravity cloud and be configurable via the Gravity mobile app.
Does it require a subscription?
Section titled “Does it require a subscription?”No, out of the box it does not require a subscription - cloud configuration and push notifications are provided free. In the future we will provide an Avenger Pro subscription with add-on modules for additional cloud-supported functionality and/or integrations.
Can I use third-party readers?
Section titled “Can I use third-party readers?”Yes, Avenger supports third-party Wiegand readers that use a supported card format, as well as Presco readers.
What happens if internet connectivity is lost?
Section titled “What happens if internet connectivity is lost?”Avenger continues to control access using the users, credentials and schedules stored on the controller. Remote management and cloud notifications are unavailable until the internet connection is restored.
For End Users
Section titled “For End Users”Can I manage multiple sites?
Section titled “Can I manage multiple sites?”Yes, you can manage multiple sites from the same Gravity account and switch between them in the Gravity mobile app.
Can I receive notifications?
Section titled “Can I receive notifications?”Yes, the Gravity mobile app provides free push notifications for door forced open, door open too long, and controller offline events. Enable notifications for the app in your phone settings.
Is my data secure?
Section titled “Is my data secure?”Yes, communication with Gravity cloud is encrypted, and access to your site is controlled by your Gravity account and site permissions.
Can I manage the system from anywhere?
Section titled “Can I manage the system from anywhere?”Yes, you can manage your system from anywhere using the Gravity mobile app, provided your phone and Presco Avenger both have an internet connection.
